WHAT is the Art Deck Project™?
Art activism is a way to use art to take action to help those in need.
For me this means using my original paintings from the last ten years to raise money for The SAFE Alliance (Stop Abuse for Everyone).
HOW does the Art Deck Project™ raise money?
Each original art 3″ x 5″ piece sells for $10. Out of that sell, 50% ($5 per piece) will be donated each month to The SAFE Alliance. The SAFE Aliiance is a merger of Austin Children’s Shelter and SafePlace, both long-standing and respected human service agencies in Austin, Texas serving the survivors of child abuse, sexual assault and exploitation, and domestic violence.
Each Order Includes:
One 3″ x 5″ original art piece created by Sheree Keys
One “tiny” easel to display your artwork on your desk or shelf
HOW was the art created?
The Art Deck Project art pieces were created from over 10 years of original paintings by Sheree Keys. The Art Decks consist of acrylic, mixed media, pastels, and oil pieces. Currently, there are over 500 Art Decks that are approximately 3″ x 5″.
Some of the Art Decks came from 2′ x 2′ art work while other Art Decks come from art as large as 5′ x 7′!
The current 500 Art Decks were created over a ten year period from 2012 to 2022.
Each Art Deck is signed by the artist and dated with the year of creation.
Can I collaborate with the Art Deck Project?
I also invite artists to join The ART DECK PROJECT and redistribute their large orginal paintings and turn them into smaller ones as well and raise money for a cause close to their heart!
